Biography

2011-12- Kayla started in two games of the 26 games for the Lady Jackets. She was third on the team in three-pointers made with 22. She was named Academic All-Conference.

2010-11- Kayla played in 27 games for the Lady Jackets averaging 4.9 points per game. She scored a season high of 16 versus Hardin-Simmons and also had double digit games against Sul Ross State (twice) and Mary Hardin-Baylor. She was 23 of 27 from the free-throw line (85.2%) for the year. She was named Academic All-Conference.

2009-2010- Kayla played in 12 games as a freshman scoring 26 points.

HS- Kayla is a graduate of Azle High School. She was a 3 year letterman, and was named her team’s MVP her senior year. She was also named First Team All-District and twice to All-Tournament teams. She hit 82 three-pointers her senior year.

Personal- Kayla is from Azle, Texas and the daughter of Jack and Susie Scott and also has a younger sister. Her major is in Secondary Education and plans on graduating in the spring on 2012.
