Abilene, Texas- The Howard Payne Lady Jacket Volleyball team dropped a conference match to McMurry University on Oct. 5th.
HPU dropped all three sets to the Warhawks, battling the best they could and just coming up short, 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-15).
Zhartaezia Bradley led the Lady Jackets with 8 kills, and Kailey Doering came in second with 6. Bradley added 3 blocks, McKenna Walker had 19 assists and Amaya Marshall posted 9 digs.
McMurry is now 16-3 overall and 6-2 in ASC play which is good for 2nd in the West, currently. Howard Payne has dropped to 2-15 on the season and 1-9 in conference play.
The Lady Jackets will be on the road tomorrow, Saturday, October 6th, right down the street in Abilene, at Hardin-Simmons tomorrow starting at 2:00pm. You can find links to live stats and video at HPUSports.com.
