Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's basketball team fell 90-78 on Monday at Trinity University in a road non-conference match-up.

Luke Cox scored 15 points off the bench for the Yellow Jackets on 5 of 11 shooting from behind the arc.
Down 13 (48-35) at the half, the Jackets were able to cut the Trinity lead to two, 61-59 on a
Joshua Taylor three-pointer with under 12 minutes remaining in the game.
Trinity from that point went on a run to push its lead to double digits and the eventual 90-78 final.
Three other Yellow Jackets posted double digit scoring.
Tyrell Thompson and
Evan Adkins each with 12 and
Joshua Taylor finished with 11.
Talen Davis grabbed a team high eight rebounds along with four assist.
Timothy Aguero and
Jaylan Ballou each added four assists.
Howard Payne will play next on Friday, Nov. 29th at home versus Centenary College in a non-conference game starting at 7:00 pm.
