Lady Jackets Fall To HSU

ABILENE, Texas- The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost to Hardin-Simmons University 3-0 on Friday evening. 

Howard Payne lost in three straight sets to Hardin-Simmons by scores of 25-19, 25-11, and 25-22.

Mitsue Rodriquez led the Lady Jackets will ten kills. Riley Brittain had ten assists, followed by Kaitlyn Elsten with seven.

Howard Payne falls to 3-15 on the season and 1-10 in American Southwest Conference action. Hardin Simmons improves to 7-7 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

The Lady Jackets will play McMurry  on Saturday Oct. 16 at 12:00 PM in Abilene, Texas.
