Michael House hit seven three-points in a 92-84 loss to Concordia University Texas Thursday evening.

The Yellow Jackets led early on but would go on to trail 51-41 at the break despite shooting 51.7% from the field in the first half.
Finding themselves down by as much as 19 at the start of the second period, the Jackets kept fighting and eventually cut the Tornados lead to five, 89-84 with 29 seconds remaining in the game. Free-throws down the stretch by CTX secured the game 92-84.
Tyrell Thompson added 21 points and seven rebounds to the Yellow Jacket numbers.
James Helzer scored 12 points with a team high nine rebounds.
Concordia was led by Luis Gonzalez with 25 points followed by Trevon Hester with 20 points.
HPU is now 0-12 overall and 0-7 in American Southwest Conference action. Concordia stands at 2-4 overall and 1-4 in league play. The Jackets will play next this Saturday at home versus the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. It will be a 7:00 pm start time.
