DALLAS, Texas - Today the American Southwest Conference announced the 2024 Women's Soccer all-conference teams, and eight Howard Payne Lady Jackets were selected.
Hannah Noel – First Team All-Conference – Forward
Junior forward
Hannah Noel started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, logging 1245 minutes. Noel was a key piece to the offense, scoring three goals with three assists. Noel had 26 shots with 13 being on frame. She was named to the ASC All-Conference team this season. This will be Noel's third straight year earning All-Conference honors.
Brenna Douthit – First Team All-Conference – Midfielder
Junior midfielder
Brenna Douthit started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, finishing first on the team in goals (7). Her breakout season also saw her lead the team in total points with 19. Logging 1326 minutes, Douthit recorded 43 shots, 22 being on goal. This is Douthit's third time earning All-Conference honors.
Abbie Wetzel – First Team All-Conference – Forward
Freshman forward
Abbie Wetzel started in five games for the Lady Jackets, but played in all 19. Logging 935 minutes, Wetzel made the most of her minutes by scoring two goals with three assists in her first year of action. Wetzel had 16 shots with nine being on goal.
Kiana Chastain – First Team All-Conference – Forward
Sophomore forward
Kiana Chastain started in nine games for the Lady Jackets, but played in all 19. Logging 914 minutes, Chastain found major success through the middle of the season, scoring all four of her goals within a busy month of conference play. She scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Letourneau. Chastain had 17 shots with nine being on frame. This will be Noel's first year earning All-Conference honors.
Regan Noel – Second Team All-Conference – Defender
Junior defender
Regan Noel started in 17 of 19 games for the Lady Jackets, logging in 1295 minutes. Noel was seen as a key anchor for the defense this season. She recorded a valuable assist late in the season to help the Lady Jackets beat UT-Dallas 2-0. Noel totaled three shots, with one shot on frame.
Addie Carroll – Honorable Mention All-Conference – Midfielder
Senior midfielder
Addie Carroll started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets. Logging 1176 minutes, Carroll recorded eight shots, four being on goal. Her experience on the field helped guide the Lady Jackets to many victories this season. This will be Carroll's first time earning All-Conference honors.
Gabby Garza – Honorable Mention All-Conference – Midfielder
Freshman midfielder
Gabby Garza started in 11 out of 19 games for the Lady Jackets. Logging 882 minutes, Garza found major success in her first collegiate match scoring a goal against Lyon College. Garza recorded 12 shots, five being on goal. She scored two goals and four points in her first year of action.
Landry Combs – Honorable Mention All-Conference – Goalkeeper
Junior goalkeeper
Landry Combs started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, logging a team-high 1694 minutes. Combs ranked second in the ASC with 6.4 saves per game. She totaled 122 saves while earning eight wins on the year and recording six shutouts. This is her first time earning All-Conference honors.
