BROWNWOOD, Texas - The College Sports Communicators today announced the 2024 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Teams and Howard Payne University's
Kiana Chastain,
Madelynn Harry,
Brenna Douthit,
Regan Noel,
Hannah Noel, and
Tatum Mercer were recognized on this year's list.
Kiana Chastain
A First Team All-Conference selection as a forward,
Kiana Chastain started in nine of 19 games played in for the Lady Jackets. Logging 914 minutes, Chastain found major success through the middle of the season, scoring all four of her goals within a busy month of conference play. She scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Letourneau. Chastain had 17 shots with nine being on frame.
Madelynn Harry
Starting in 13 of 19 matches played in for Howard Payne,
Madelynn Harry recorded three goals on 19 shots (13 on goal) for the Lady Jackets.
Brenna Douthit
A First Team All-Conference honoree as a midfielder,
Brenna Douthit started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, finishing first on the team in goals (7). Her breakout season also saw her lead the team in total points with 19. Logging 1,326 minutes of action, Douthit recorded 43 shots, 22 being on goal.
Regan Noel
Recognized as Second Team All-Conference honoree as a defender,
Regan Noel started in 17 of 19 games for the Lady Jackets, logging in 1,295 minutes. Noel was seen as a key anchor for the defense this season. She recorded a valuable assist late in the season to help the Lady Jackets beat UT-Dallas 2-0. Noel totaled three shots, with one shot on frame.
Hannah Noel
A First Team All-Conference selection as a forward,
Hannah Noel started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, logging 1,245 minutes. Noel was a key piece to the offense, scoring three goals with three assists. Noel had 26 shots with 13 being on frame. She was named to the ASC All-Conference team this season.
Tatum Mercer
A graduate student at Howard Payne,
Tatum Mercer logged 1,392 minutes of action in the HPU defensive unit, the third most minutes on the team. Starting in all 19 games for HPU, she also took four shots, one on goal this season.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late December.Â
