Brownwood, Texas — Howard Payne University Athletics has announced a five-year multimedia rights agreement with FloSports and FloCollege, establishing the department's exclusive streaming media partner beginning with the 2026–2027 academic year. The agreement represents a significant step forward in expanding the visibility, quality and reach of Yellow Jacket athletics.
As part of the partnership, Howard Payne will also play a key role in the launch of the American Southwest Conference Digital Network, a conference-wide initiative powered by FloSports and FloCollege. The new digital network will provide centralized, high-quality streaming coverage of ASC athletic events, enhancing exposure for student-athletes and institutions across the league.
"FloSports gives us a true broadcast partner that understands where college athletics is headed," said Howard Payne University Director of Athletics
Adam Bright. "This five-year agreement allows us to replace aging equipment, modernize our production infrastructure, and deliver a consistent, high-quality broadcast experience. It elevates how we showcase our student-athletes and positions us to be part of something bigger with the American Southwest Conference Digital Network."
Beginning in 2026–27, Howard Payne home and selected away contests across multiple sports will stream on FloCollege, FloSports' collegiate-focused platform. The partnership includes significant upgrades to video, audio and production technology on campus to meet national broadcast standards and provide a professional-level viewing experience for fans.
Under the agreement, FloCollege will stream the full American Southwest Conference competitive calendar, including regular-season contests, conference championships, and featured events across both men's and women's sports. FloCollege will be accessible via web browsers, mobile apps on iOS and Android devices, and smart TV platforms including Roku, Samsung, Fire TV, Google TV, Apple TV, LG and VIZIO.
"The way we experience college athletics is changing, and the American Southwest Conference, including Howard Payne, is growing with it," Bright added. "As streaming continues to evolve across the country, the move to FloSports is designed with our fans in mind. This partnership will provide expanded access, higher-quality coverage, and exclusive content that brings our programs closer to our alumni, families and supporters."
ASC Commissioner Leslie Schuemann emphasized the broader impact of the partnership across the conference.
"Partnering with FloCollege marks a transformative step forward for the ASC and our student-athletes," Schuemann said. "This collaboration ensures that our competitions and achievements will be showcased to wider audiences with exceptional quality and storytelling, elevating the profile of the ASC and Division III sports while inspiring future generations. By reaching more fans nationwide and highlighting the high level of competition within the ASC, we are reinforcing our commitment to being competitive at the national level and providing our student-athletes with the recognition they deserve."
The American Southwest Conference Digital Network will serve as a unified streaming home for ASC institutions, offering increased consistency, broader distribution and enhanced storytelling opportunities across the conference. By leveraging FloSports' established digital infrastructure, the network will provide fans with reliable access to live and on-demand content across web, mobile and connected TV devices.
Additional details regarding launch timelines, production enhancements and subscription access will be announced closer to the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.
