BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team (4-4, 0-1) will continue ASC Conference play when the Lady Jackets host East Texas Baptist University on Saturday afternoon at 5:00 PM.

The Lady Jackets lost their ASC Conference opener to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, by a score of 0-2, on Thursday afternoon at the Citizens National Bank Field. Seniors

Abbie Wetzel were the only Lady Jackets who managed to get a shot off in the match. Graduate goalkeeper
Landry Combs played the whole game and made a season-high fourteen saves.
SCOUTING REPORT
East Texas Baptist University (4-3) comes into the match off a 1-3 away win against Schreiner University. ETBU comes into the match averaging just over two goals per game and conceding just over one goal a game.
Grace Shurley is the Tigers' main offensive threat. She has seven points so far this season off of three goals and one assist. Taylor Lauster is the primary goalkeeper for the Tigers. She has played in seven games, starting six, and has made 30 saves while allowing 10 goals.

Howard Payne is currently fourth in the ASC Conference standings, while ETBU leads the conference. The Lady Jackets are featured heavily in the top 10 of every offensive category.

Landry Combs is among the conference leaders in three statistical categories. She leads the conference in saves (31), ranks second in goals against average (1.11) and is fifth in saves per game (3.88).
