ROUND ROCK, Texas- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team (4-2) will look to get back on track against Concordia University (0-4) at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex on Monday at 7 PM.

LAST TIME OUT

Howard Payne fell to Texas Lutheran University by a score of 4-0 on Saturday at the Gustafson Field. The Lady Jackets struggled to get offensive momentum in the game, which resulted in only one shot on goal from Alayna Lopez.

Landry Combs and Cadence Tischler continued to split time in goal. Combs and Tischler both made four saves each.

AROUND THE ASC

Coming into this game, Howard Payne currently sits atop the conference standings with their 4-2 record. The Lady Jackets also have several players near the top of key ASC statistical categories.

Freshman Kenzie Cameron is tied for third in goals scored (3), fifth in points (7), second in shots on goal (10) and sixth in total shots (15). Senior Abbie Wetzel and sophomore Madison LaDart both are tied for third in assists with two. LaDart also leads the conference in game-winning goals with two.

Combs also is near the top in every statistical category, while leading the conference in goals against average (0.67) and save percentage (.867 percent).

SCOUTING REPORT

Concordia has a 0-4 record so far this season, and their last loss came against Nelson (TX) by a score of 2-1. Cecilia Escobar and Emma Payne both lead the Tornados in goals scored with one. Kylie Bourquin has played three games in goal for Concordia and has suffered six goals against, while making 12 saves.
