2023: A CSC Academic All-District selection, Lampson appeared in 30 games for HPU. He registered 29 hits, six RBI, and scored 21 runs. Lampson also Led the ASC in hit-by-pitches (10) and was fourth on the team hitting .315 at the plate. As a fielder, Lampson notched 103 catches, 49 putouts, 49 assists, and was featured in 14 double plays. He was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2022: Appearing in 30 games for HPU, Lampson recorded 14 hits, 17 runs, and 10 RBI. He also had three doubles, one triple, one home run. On the defensive side, Lampson finished with 16 putouts and 38 assists. He was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

HS: Samuel played varsity baseball at Clear Falls High School in League City, Texas. 

Personal: Samuel is the son of Sam and Lauri Lampson. He is majoring in law.
