2023: Appearing in four games for the Yellow Jackets, Mays registered three strikeouts through four innings pitched. He was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2022: Appearing in eight games for HPU, Mays racked up 13 strikeouts in 20.2 innings pitched. He was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2021: Pitching in eight games for the Yellow Jackets, Ricky threw 13 innings and earned one win. He recorded 10 strikeouts. He has a season-high four strikeouts versus Belhaven.

Previous College: Ricky played two years of baseball at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas, before he transferred to Howard Payne.

HS: Ricky attended Euless Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, where he was a two-year letter in baseball.  He graduated in the top 12% of his graduating class.

Personal: Ricky is the son of Richard and Kathy Mays.  He is pursuing a degree in engineering science and aspires to become the CEO of his own company.
