Biography

2013- Posted a 4-3 record on the mound for the Jackets in 11 starts. In 77.1 innings pitched, he struckout 50 and walked only 19. He had a 3.26 ERA and threw two complete games. He was twice named ASC West Division Pitcher of the Week.

2012- He posted a 3-3 record in 10 starts and 11 appearances. He had a team best 2.89 ERA, stiking out 44 in 71.2 inning pitched. He was named 2nd Team All-West Division as a starting pitcher. 

2011- Corey had 13 appearances on the mound for HPU. He was 4-1 on the year with two saves. His 1.56 ERA was the lowest among the HPU pitching staff.

HS-Corey helped lead Eastland high school to Area and Regional final appearances. He was an All-District and All Big Country selection. Playing basketball as well he garnered 1st Team All-District honors.

Personal-A 2010 graduate of Eastland high school, he is the son of Paul and Rhonda Howie and has two sisters.
