Biography

HS/College: Kody is a 2011 graduate of Sweeny HS in Sweeny, Texas, where he lettered two years in Baseball. As a member of the Bulldogs baseball team, he lead them to back to back 3-A state play-offs appearances in 2009-2010. Before arriving at HPU, he attended Ranger College, in Ranger, Texas and Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas.  He earned Academic All-American honors, was a member of the Student Athletic Conference Committee (SACC), and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, international honor society. 

Personal: Kody is a Criminal Justice major from Brazoria, Texas. He is the son of Paula Cissna and Ken Cissna and has a younger brother.  Before arriving in Texas, he was born in Frankfort, Kentucky.
