Biography

2022: Appearing in 19 games for HPU, Prewitt registered nine hits, 13 runs, 10 RBI, and hit one homer. On the defensive side, he finished with 49 catches and 45 putouts.

2021: Appearing in 12 games for the Yellow Jackets, Stephen recorded 14 hits in 39 at-bats with two home runs and five RBI. He also recorded five runs. As a fielder, he registered 77 catches, 72 putouts, and four assists. 

2020: Saw action in five games and started in four of them, where he recorded six hits in 15 at bats.  He also registered two RBIs and three runs.  He went a perfect 3-3 at the plate at UT Dallas.

2019: Started in three of eight games played in for the Jackets recording one RBI on one hit in 17 at bats.

Previous School: Stephen spent one year with the Plainsmen of Frank Phillips College.

High School: Stephen played four years of varsity baseball and also football at Leon High School in Jewett, Texas. He was named newcomer of the year, first team all-district utility player and first team all-district pitcher on his way to helping Leon win an area championship.

Personal: Stephen is majoring in Kinesiology. He is the son of Frank and Karen Prewitt and has six siblings.
